About Me

My photo
Sister Reshell Lewis
I am from the beautiful islands of Palau. I moved to Grand Junction, Colorado three years ago to go to school and help my sister. I love my family and I miss them dearly. I have two sisters and one brother, and I am the baby of the family. I am a full time missionary serving at Napa, California. I am so grateful to be here and to teach people more about Jesus Christ and His restored Church through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I love the Book of Mormon, which is another Testament of Jesus Christ. And I hope and pray that I will be able to find and help my brothers and sisters receive this message so they can have joy and happiness in their lives!

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you."

My Oath to You

When you are sad,
I will dry your tears,
When you are scared,
I will comfort your fears
When you are worried,
I will give you hope.
When you are confused,
I will help you cope.
And when you are lost,
And can't see the light
I shall be your beacon
Shinning ever so bright.
This is my oath.
I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask?
Because you're my friend.
